Archaeologists find ancient temple in Iran

Australian and Iranian archaeologists say they may have found an ancient Elamite temple buried in Iran's Fars province.

Press-TV said the temple, which was found during excavation of the historical Tal-e-Sepid mound, likely belonged to Inshoshinak --a compassionate god known as "Father of the Weak."

The archaeology team has unearthed Achaemenid and post-Achaemenid relics, as well as an Elamite terrace, the report said.

Elam was one of the oldest civilizations in Iran.
